Privacy policy

We collect as little as we can. Here is exactly what, why, and for how long, under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

In short

  • A WhatsApp number, a first name and your device type: that is all we need.
  • No card details stored by us, no account, no newsletter.
  • Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
  • You can ask to see or delete your data at any time on WhatsApp.

Who is responsible for your data

IPTV27, which runs iptv-27.com, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us on WhatsApp for any question about this policy or to exercise your rights.

What we collect

  • Your WhatsApp conversation with us: your phone number, the name shown on your profile, and the messages and screenshots you send.
  • Order details: the plan, the dates, the device type and, for MAG or Smart TV apps, the device's MAC address.
  • Payment confirmation: the amount, the date and a transaction reference. Card payments are processed by the payment provider; we never see or keep your full card number.
  • Service logs: the server records connections to your line (time, IP address) to keep it working and detect sharing.
  • Website analytics: only if you accept them in the cookie banner. See the cookie policy.

Why we use it, and on what legal basis

  • To take your order, send your login and support you: performance of the contract.
  • To keep payment records: legal obligation (accounting and tax rules).
  • To protect the Service against sharing and abuse: our legitimate interest.
  • To measure visits to the website: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it

  • Order and support conversations: for the life of your subscription plus 12 months.
  • Payment records: 6 years, as required for accounting.
  • Server connection logs: up to 90 days.

Who it is shared with

Only with the providers we need to run the Service: WhatsApp (Meta) for messaging, the payment provider you choose, and our hosting and server providers. Some of them may process data outside the UK; where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations. We never sell your data and never share it for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Send your request on WhatsApp; we answer within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), although we would like the chance to fix it first.

Children

The Service is sold to adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version is published here with its date.
