IPTV setup guides for every screen in the house

Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs run IPTV players from their own app stores. These apps charge a small one-off licence after a free week.

   Install the player

   Open the Samsung or LG app store and install IBO Player or Smart IPTV.

2. 01.2

   Note the MAC address

   Open the app: it shows a MAC address and a device key. Send a photo of that screen to us on WhatsApp.

3. 01.3

   We load your playlist

   We attach your M3U link to that MAC address. Restart the app and the channel list appears.

Android boxes are the most comfortable way to watch: fast, and they run TiviMate, which feels like a satellite receiver.

   Install the player

   From Google Play, install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro.

   Add a playlist

   Choose Add playlist, then Xtream Codes, and type the server URL, username and password from our message.

   Pick your favourites

   Long-press a channel to add it to favourites, so the UK channels you watch most sit at the top.

On Apple devices, use a player from the App Store. The same login works on all of them, one stream at a time.

   Install the player

   From the App Store, install iPlayTV (Apple TV) or GSE Smart IPTV (iPhone and iPad).

   Add your login

   Choose Xtream Codes API and enter the server URL, username and password we sent.

   Watch

   The channels load in groups. On Apple TV, swipe on the remote to zap between channels.

MAG and Formuler boxes use a built-in portal linked to the box itself, so there is nothing to type on the remote.

   Find the MAC address

   It is printed on the sticker under the box and shown in Settings, Device info. Send it to us.

2. 04.2

   Enter the portal

   In Settings, Servers, Portals, enter the portal address we send back, then restart the box.

   Done

   The portal loads your channels and the films and series library.

On a computer, the free VLC player is enough, although a dedicated app is nicer to use.

   Install VLC

   Download VLC from videolan.org and install it.

   Open the playlist

   In VLC choose Media, Open Network Stream (Mac: File, Open Network) and paste your M3U link.

3. 05.3

   Browse the channels

   Open the playlist view to see every channel, then double-click to watch.
